My guest Saturday will be Mercy For Animals. They are dedicated to preventing cruelty to farmed animals and promoting compassionate food choices and policies. MFA works to create a society where all animals are treated with the compassion and respect they so rightfully deserve. They serve as a voice for animals through proactive consumer education initiatives, cruelty investigations, corporate outreach, and legal advocacy.
Nonprofit Spokane airs every Saturday @ 9am PT live on KYRS
There is no greater reward than doing good. This show spotlights nonprofits that do just that. I talk with nonprofits, directors, volunteers, & board members to learn more about their organization's mission. Nonprofits are a mix of local, regional and national. The show's purpose is to educate and connect listeners with nonprofits making an impact.
About Me: I'm a graduate student with Bay Path University pursuing a MS in Nonprofit Management and Philanthropy. I'm 2 classes from completion and expect to graduate in Oct 2014.
