Sharon was a  local Indigenous organizer for the US Social Forum.  She organized delegations of local community members to participate in at the Forum as well as the role of welcoming all those who traveled to the Forum.  Activities organized by the Indigenous Peoples participated in throughout the Forum included the opening ceremony, and a water ceremony, a traditional ceremony where participants brought water from their home areas.  Sharon shared the local Native communities desire to connect with people to remind them of their issues and the history of the Native people in the area and some of the overall outcomes for Native people at the US Social Forum.</description>
