"Revolutionary Spirituality" begins Jan. 14th, and more!

"Revolutionary Spirituality" airs live every Monday at 3PM, only on KYRS.

Sandra Williams hosts this public affairs show covering diverse views and opinions regarding religion and spirituality.

New Spanish-language program to begin soon Mondays at 10AM.

"Bob Glatzer's Rant" is a one-hour political call-in show, where listeners can call in to KYRS and express their own thoughts on the air, live, on all the current political issues of the day -- for example, we encourage views about the Bush administration, the two parties and their candidates for the presidency, the Iraq war and American foreign policy, and anything else that seems relevant.  The show is intended to give the widest latitude to all points of view -- no holds barred, no views censored -- with the exception that all callers must adhere to the rules of common language that the FCC has laid down.

The show runs from 1 to 2 PM on Saturday, right after the Persian Hour.

Nocturnal Transmissions:
Nocturnal Transmissions is a blend of comedy and music mined deep from the recesses of your host's collective brains. Amy O'Grady and Jason Dunlaven are your guides every Saturday night from Midnight to 2AM. They may say or do things that make you laugh, but don't be frightened. This is normal in Nocturnal Transmissions.

 Roswell Radio:
Roswell Radio is a music show hosted by Jason McKinney featuring great musical minds of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries; composers who quite likely did not originate from this planet.

You will hear artists such as Frank Zappa, Mike Patton, John Cage, Edgard Varese, Captain Beefheart, The Melvins, Kronos Quartet, Tool, the Butthole Surfers and many, many more.

TUNE IN THURSDAY NIGHTS AT 10 AND MAKE CONTACT.

Description Common Threads:

DJ John Blakesley has this to say about his new program:

COMMON THREADS RADIO>>>>>>>92.3 FM KYRS Thin Air Community Radio has given me the opportunity to host and program my show, Saturday mornings at 9am.

The premise of the show is a non-conforming blend of morning music....lots of acoustic, singer-songwriters, jazz, blues, reggae, world, bluegrass, local, hip-hop and more....You will hear music from artists such as Hayden, Elliot Smith, Josh Hedlund, Roswell Rudd, Corey Harris, Jon Butler Trio, Xavier Rudd, Micheal Franti, Avishai Cohen, Crosby, Stills, and Nash, Sizzla, the shins, built to spill, common, railroad earth, burning spear, and so much more. I plan on keeping a very tasteful mix together since it is Saturday morning, and yeah my grandparents are listening too, but hopefully touching all areas and playing music lots of listeners will dig.......
