KYRS receives grant from RESIST foundation
Multi-year grant will support social justice radio programming
RESIST, a private grantmaking foundation in Massachusetts, recently awarded KYRS a multi-year grant of $3,000 per year for three years. The grant will be used to build programming for un-served and underserved communities in the Spokane area, focusing on social and environmental justice. RESIST is a progressive foundation that supports grassroots organizing for peace, economic, social and environmental justice, and provides political education for social change activism.
