I am enrolled Spokane, I am also Dine, Coeur d'Alene and Colville. I gradutated from the University of Washington in 2002. My degree is in environmental studies, but have been spending most of my time working with independent media. I also work for SHAWL Society (Sovereignty, Health, Air, Water, Land). The focus of the organization is mainly the environmental and health impacts of uranium mining on the Spokane Indian Reservation. I have done a lot of travelling and speaking about our issues and finding the connections between corporate greed, environmental injustice and the impacts of industrialization to indigenous communities across the world. It's what I dedicate my life to now and I am always where I need to be, meeting the right people and on the path of defending our rights.
